An Engagement Interview with Wendy Knight

“Hi Wendy.

I very much appreciated and enjoyed our conversation last Wednesday and hope we can do it again some time. I’ve written something short to introduce you to our Gilchrist Foundation website visitors. Here is my report of our meeting:
 

Wendy is a proud Aboriginal (Barkindgi) woman from Gamilaroi Country with an unwavering commitment to helping others – ensuring the promotion of Indigenous voices on issues affecting our children and families.

She is a results driven and accomplished Senior Executive with 20+ years’ experience.  Extensive experience in the child protection, out of home care and contract management in both government and non-government roles.

She has proven success providing effective management of human, financial and physical resources, high level strategic and operational management as well as organisational change leadership ensuring the achievement of strategic goals, financial sustainability, progressive change and meaningful service delivery.

A confident and articulate communicator with extensive sector networks to support sustainable outcomes in Not For Profit’s, government and external organisations at both State and National level. A resourceful problem solver and innovative change manager with ongoing commitment to excellence and best practice, my personal attributes include honesty, sincerity, integrity and empathy.
